Standley Middle School

Fall 2024

This project is a redesign of Standley Middle School’s Entry and Administration Building located at 6298 Radcliffe Dr, San Diego. I was able to Investigate the existing campus to gain an understanding of its place in the community, how the arrival to campus feels for users, and how the administration building functions for its campus. I then developed design concepts centered around the school as a place in its community and developed space planning, floor plans, renderings, and details to improve the existing buildings and entry.  I also used the California Building Code and California Department of Education standards and incorporated them into my design.
